PERESEAL FR is a fire-rated intumescent acrylic sealant for passive fire protection in fire-rated applications.It cures to form a firm yet flexible seal to join a variety of materials and applications. When exposed to heat, PERESEAL FR chars and expands, preventing the spread of heat, smoke, and fire through a joint. • Fire-rating of up to 4 hours tested by Bodycote Warringtonfire to BS: 476 Part 20: 1987 • Certificate of Conformity issued by TÜV SÜD PSB to Class 1A • Low VOC – qualifies for LEED IEQc4.1 : Low-Emitting Materials – Adhesives and Sealants (tested by TÜV SÜD PSB) • Acoustic insulating properties – sound reduction up to 62 dB • Intumescent (chars and expands when exposed to heat) • Joint movement capability to 12.5% • For use in joints up to 25 mm wide • No flashpoint • Excellent slump resistance • Fast cure and tack free within an hour • Halogen free • Paintable • Non-staining • Good adhesion to most porous building materials without the use of a primer • Can be applied on damp (not wet) surfaces • Permanent colour
